Our hands have 99 acupuncture and 6 meridians connected to the heart, kidney, and some other organs. The little finger corresponds to the heart, small intestine meridian, and reflects the condition of the kidneys and circulatory system. Regular pressing of the little finger can prevent and assist in the treatment of many diseases and illnesses: cervical spondylosis, frozen shoulder, headache, insomnia, lumbar disc herniation, backache, limb numbness, tumor, palpitations, high blood pressure, energy decline, endometriosis, uterine muscle tumors, menopausal disorders, constipation, depression, amnesia, neuroticism, anxiety, vision loss, obesity, diabetes, kidney Diarrhea, frequent urination, occlusion of urine, enlarged prostate, hepatitis, and gray hair.
It may sound too good to be true, but actually, it is true and proved by the Classic Chinese Medicine.
The meridian in right little finger connects to the kidneys. The meridian in the left little finger connects the bladder, lungs, stomach, and kidneys. Frequent massage of the little finger can strengthen the body and nourish the kidney. You can use your fingertips to gently massage the little finger, from the tip of the little finger to the root, for ten minutes each time. It can stimulate the Qi flow to those organs, and treat kidney deficiency.
Many people start to grow white hair at a young age. There are many reasons, but poor kidney function is one of the main reasons. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the quality of the kidneys is directly related to the condition of the hair. Regularly massaging the little finger can help to strengthen the body and nourish the kidney, therefore it can help to treat gray hair as well.
Figure 1 shows two acupuncture points in the little finger: ‘kidney point’, and ‘Mingmen point’ on the first and the second knuckle of the little finger respectively. You can press each acupuncture point lightly, then release it and press it again. Repeat in this way 50 times a day.
