Among the five fingers, the pinky finger is frequently overlooked. It’s the smallest and ranks the lowest. When you commend someone, you give them a thumbs up. Conversely, when you disagree with someone, you show them a little finger. However, your little fingers actually have a more profound impact on your health than the other fingers. They are closely linked to the heart, kidneys, uterus, and testes, as the meridians associated with the heart and small intestine run through the little fingers.
Are you looking to maintain a healthy heart, enjoy better sleep, slow down gray hair, and ward off kidney disease and cancer? If so, consider regularly moving or massaging your little fingers.
Here are a few simple exercises for your little fingers that can support your heart health and soothe your nerves. These exercises can also benefit your kidneys and assist you in falling asleep more easily.
The first exercises:
Stretch your arms out and make a fist with both hands. Then extend your little finger of your left and right hand to make a move of retracting and releasing while keeping the rest of the fingers tightly gripped. Repeat this exercise 50 or more times.
The second exercise:
Interlock your left and right little fingers, then gently pull each little finger in opposite directions. After a moment, release the pull and then pull again. Repeat this process 30 times or more.
Why can such simple exercises bring so many health benefits? Because repeatedly moving the little finger in a given period of time is equivalent to stretching and massaging the heart meridian, which has the effect of nourishing the mind and soothing the nerves. In TCM meridian science, there are 12 main meridians in the whole body, and 6 of them go from the fingers to the entire body, which is important for the circulation of “Qi” (life energy) and blood throughout the body. The hands have a close connection to the cerebral nerves as well. Therefore, the movement of the hand muscles has a great effect on the cerebral cortex.
Besides the simple exercises introduced above, you can also consciously use your little finger in your daily life to get a similar effect. Such as using your little fingers to lift a bag with some weight or object in it, or turning the book with your little finger.
In short, regular stimulation of the little finger can more or less prevent and treat about 28 kinds of diseases including cervical spondylosis, frozen shoulder, headache, insomnia, lumbar disc herniation, waist Acid, limb numbness, tumor, palpitations, high blood pressure, sexual dysfunction, energy decline, endometriosis, uterine muscle Tumors, menopausal disorders, constipation, depression, amnesia, neuroticism, anxiety, vision loss, obesity, diabetes Diseases, kidney disease, frequent urination, obliteration, prostatic hypertrophy, hepatitis, etc.
