Why Should You Comb Your Hair More Often?

Brushing your hair offers numerous health advantages. It not only helps make your hair softer but also stimulates the acupuncture points on your scalp, which in turn enhances blood circulation in the head, nourishes the hair, alleviates headaches, and helps prevent various other ailments. To be more precise, regularly combing your hair can:

  1. Promote blood circulation in the head: It can regulate the excitation and inhibition processes of the cerebral cortex, improve the function of the nerves in the head, promote blood circulation and the secretion of subcutaneous glands, improve nutrient metabolism, and allow limited nutrition to be satisfied first in the brain, thereby enhancing memory.
  2. Nourishing hair: Combing hair stimulates the head to promote blood circulation through nerve reflexes, helps to provide sufficient blood oxygen supply to scalp hair, thereby improving blood circulation in the scalp, which has a healing effect for hair loss, dandruff, and dry hair, which makes hair soft and shiny.
  3. Prevent and treat headaches: many acupuncture points are on the head, frequently combing the hair can play the role of massaging the scalp, and at the same time stimulate the acupuncture points on the head, which can relieve fatigue and prevent headaches.
  4. Prevention of diseases: In addition to the benefits mentioned above, combing hair can also prevent colds, high blood pressure, brain diseases, and other diseases.

How to comb the hair?

You can use either a comb or your fingers to comb your hair, starting from the top of the forehead to the bottom, with moderate force. When combing with your finger from the roots of the forehead to the top of the head, you can also massage the scalp with your fingers gently. Try to massage the scalp with the pulp of the finger.

You can comb your hair any time you like. If you want to have a good sleep, combing your hair with your fingers before going to bed will help.
