Why Practicing Tai Ji Can Improve Brain Function?

Practicing Tai Ji requires relaxing your body and concentrate on the movements. This will allow a part of the cerebral cortex to enter a protective inhibition state and rest. Meanwhile, punching and blocking in the Tai Ji forms can stimulate meridians and regulate the brain.

One of the biggest challenges for most beginners is to relax their bodies when practicing Tai Ji. When they practice Tai Ji, their muscles often tense up. Therefore instead of feeling refreshed, they may feel tired afterward.

One way, and maybe the best way, to learn to relax when practicing Tai Ji is to practice more. When practicing Tai Ji it is important to apply the correct techniques and focus on the movements.  Over time the right movements will become second nature. You will be able to relax and feel the flow of the energy internally when practicing Tai Ji.

You will be amazed at what you can do and how much improvement you have.
