Ba Duan Jin’s movments include turning, stretching, and twisting of the limbs, torso, and the entire body. These actions can alleviate spasms in small peripheral blood vessels and enhance microcirculation. Additionally, it helps to clear the meridians, balance the internal organs, and prevent illness.
“Qi Chen Dan Tian”(气沉丹田)means to bring Qi to the lower Dantian. it can adjust the interconnection of the body at all levels.
Mindfulness meditation focus on being intensely aware of what you’re sensing and feeling in the moment Meditation in Qigong visualizes the Qi moving to a specific part of the body, or focuses on the breathing patterns, sounds, etc. Meditation in Tai Ji is achieved by focusing on the movements, the breath, and the awareness of the surrounding.
